Zombie Dash is a 3D low-poly infinite runner game where you have to change lanes continually to dodge obstacles and escape the army of zombies chasing you. It looks simple at first sight, but the rising speed makes every option critical. One bad lane move can be the end of the race right there.
The appeal of Zombie Dash is in how the game turns ordinary acts into a stressful test of reflexes. The character automatically runs forward and your job is to watch the path and select a safe lane.
A collision will slow down the character speed. Now is when the army of zombies behind you gets a chance to catch up. So instead of staring at the problem in front of you, you want to gaze further out, to prepare for the next lane change.
| Operations | Keyboard | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Left Shift | A or Arrow Key ← | Move to the left lane |
| Right Shift | D or → | Move to the right lane |
| Automatic Run | Automatic | Keep running forward |
| Objective | Avoid obstacles | Reach the finish line |
The basic control scheme makes Zombie Dash easy to pick up on the first play. But the true problem is your capacity to react at the proper time.
As you complete each level you will face new obstacles and can win up to three stars depending on how well you do. Try to pick up the gold coins that emerge along the road while running. You may then take these gold coins to the shop to buy clothing and customise your characters look.
Just a little tip: don't try to grab all the gold coins. It is sometimes safer to leave a coin untouched when it is just beside a barrier.
Zombie Dash is suited for people who like rapid easy to play runner games that require good reflexes. Levels are brief so there’s always the motivation to try it again and improve your performance.
