Hexbound is a retro-styled fantasy FPS game that locks players within dungeons filled with monsters, traps and secrets behind closed doors. Players engage in fast paced combat with a variety of weapons, powerful spells, while also exploring and upgrading characters in the game.

Also, 8 powerful spells are ready to generate turning points in battles, especially against big groups of creatures or giant bosses.

This diversity is not only entertaining but also tactical. You'll have to continually change between weapons and spells to fit each sort of enemy so that no two battles are ever the same.

Core Principle

You want to survive the mazes loaded with monsters, get to the exit of the level and defeat the ultimate bosses. But the best rewards are found in the hidden nooks and crannies.

Art of Movement and Combat

Stand motionless and die: If you stand still for too long, enemies will rapidly encircle and take you down. Keep moving all the time, and remember to use diagonal movement (strafing) to evade bullets and attack from a variety of angles.
Constant Observation Don't just rush in. Look around always, adversaries can approach you from nowhere from any direction.
Varied Weapons Don't use one weapon just. Each adversary will require a different attack style. Switch between guns, melee and magic for the best impact.

Resource Management & Upgrading

Saving and Strategy: No auto regeneration of health and ammo. You should use them wisely, especially the powerful spells. Save them for when you get heavy waves of foes or important boss encounters.
