If you've ever had a bad day and just wanted to throw someone against a wall without legal consequences, Ragdoll Sandbox was made for you. This isn't a game to "win." This is a game to sit there laughing like a madman while your character gets swallowed by a grinder, or sucked into a black hole and then spat out in another corner of the map.
You get a ragdoll character with bizarre balancing abilities, sometimes managing to stand up after a massive crash, sometimes lying face down like a fish caught in a trap. You move around using WASD, jump with Space, and Tab to open Build Mode, where things really start to get chaotic.
You can place a cannon, a giant fan, mines, lasers, cars, jump pads, and of course, black holes. Then drop a ragdoll in the middle of all of that. The result is often a chain reaction that even the developers can't predict. I once built a ramp, put three cars on it, and dropped a ragdoll from ten times its height. The result was the ragdoll flew through the glass, bounced into a mine, and was sucked into a black hole in just three seconds. I laughed so hard the neighbors had to knock on my door.
Most sandbox games let you build. Ragdoll Sandbox lets you destroy purposefully. You don't build a city for it to survive. You build a city to see how it crumbles when a giant bowling ball rolls over it. You don't create a cute character. You create an unlucky one to experiment with the worst things your imagination can think of.
And if you're a fan of personalization? The game lets you change the character's colors and facial expressions. You can make a ragdoll with a creepy smile standing in the middle of a sea of fire. It's creative freedom in the most morbid way possible.
There's a tutorial for beginners, and three game modes: Free Sandbox, Mini-Games with short challenges, and Explorer with pre-built maps for those too lazy to build.

If you're the type of person who spent hours in Garry's Mod just watching how NPCs fly, Ragdoll Sandbox is a more condensed and focused version of that feeling. No mods, no complicated servers. Just you, a bunch of dangerous tools, and a pathetic ragdoll.
